Reminder: LPC GP CPCS Webinar

The LPC will be holding two webinar sessions in the coming weeks to help pharmacies prepare to deliver GP CPCS and meet the claiming criteria for the £300 payment which must be claimed by 30th June.

Each webinar will cover the same topics; therefore, contractors should only register for one date

Available sessions:

  • Wednesday 26th May 2021, 7:30 – 9:30pm
  • Tuesday 8th June 2021, 7:30 – 9:30pm

Joining details will be shared with registered participants closer to the date. Joining details are not to be shared more widely and unregistered guests will not be permitted entry.

Pfizer shelf life in fridge extension

MHRA has announced that the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine shelf-life has been extended from 5 to 31 days.

New, more flexible storage conditions have been approved which extend the shelf-life of thawed vaccines from 5 days to 31 days when stored at normal fridge temperatures.

Extension to SSP05 and SSP07 until August

SSP05 for Fluoxetine 10mg tablets and SSP07 for Fluoxetine 30mg capsules have been further extended until 13th August 2021.

Please note the extension is only for Fluoxetine 10mg tablets and 30mg capsules, the SSP for Fluoxetine 40mg Capsules (SSP09) has now expired as there is sufficient stock available to meet demand.

All SSPs are available on the NHS BSA website.

May 2021 Price Concessions 1st Update

On Wednesday 19th May, DHSC granted the first update to the May 2021 Price Concessions.

An updated list of COVID vaccination sites has been published today (21st May 2021) on the NHSE&I website.

The list is downloadable in xls format, with the list of pharmacy premises providing COVID vaccinations available on the ‘pharmacies’ tab.
