Pharmacy Quality Scheme – Declaration deadline next week!

The deadline for you to make your PQS declaration is next Friday, 28th February 2020.

Healthy Living Pharmacy

As well as being an important quality criteria for the PQS, from April 2020 it will be mandatory for all pharmacies to have completed Health Living Phamacy Level One.

practices across 98 indicators, collected from 2015/16 to 2018/19. It will contain information about where the surgeries are doing well and where – with your help – they can do better.

The data can be used as a measure of primary care organisations’ digital maturity. 

 The dashboard allows data to be filtered, compared and downloaded. Data for 2019/20 will be added to the dashboard as it becomes available. 

In April, we will help you make sense of these data. Pls do not worry. Instead of making you dependent on the LPC for spoon feeding, we will help you make you independent, confident and proactive. 

I’m incredibly proud of all our pharmacists in our area, in particular, those who do the new things and come out and support events designed to empower our pharmacists understand the changes and respond in a timely way. 

Last Thursday evening, Jane Lindo, Director of Primary Care, STP, came and supported us at the meeting and delayed a celebratory dinner with friends and family instead of sending an apology. This means you were worth the sacrifice. Be proud. Keep going.
