Community pharmacy funding: interim arrangements agreed — NHS Networks

The Department of Health and Social Care and the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) have agreed provisional arrangements for the community pharmacy contractual framework (CPCF) due to take effect from April 2019. 

The CPCF sets out the terms for the provision of NHS pharmaceutical services in England. CPCF funding is given through fees and allowances paid to pharmacy contractors.

The financial arrangements will continue until negotiations on the framework end.

Thousands set to benefit from blood pressure treatment under new NICE guidance | NICE

Published March 2019, NICE has released a draft update to guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment or high blood pressure. This draft update is open for public consultation.

This consultation is set to close on 23rd April 2019, with the expected final publication to be available in August.
