Pharmacist honoured by the local community

Local residents in Tower Hamlets are this evening saying a fond farewell to a popular pharmacist and a gentleman. Devshi Chandegra, served the communities in Barkantine for 33 years and the Barkantine Tenants and Residents Association is saying a fond farewell to him. I am privileged to be invited and I am on my way to the farewell party.

The association says that he served his community conscientiously, tirelessly, and continuously. He is also accredited by them for efficiency and excellence and highlight the Patients Services Award presented to him in 2011 by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, DH, Lord Howe.

All pharmacists should be proud of Devshi who served as the Chairman of the Tower Hamlets Community Pharmacy Forum and was acknowledged leader in the area.

On behalf of all pharmacists I say well done and enjoy the retirement in good health and happiness. Residents of Barkantine were truly well served and blessed with a gifted and committed pharmacist.
