Evidence of national guidance influencing the local agenda for developing community pharmacy could be stronger.
Action points for improvement are listed under appendix 1 and developed from the NHS High Quality Care for All initiative and publication of DH’s Improving Pharmaceutical Care.
Recent changes to the way pharmacy services are developed are appreciated and engagement with pharmacy by the leadership of the PCT could instil confidence and investment.
