Competency 9:Secure procurement skills that ensure robust and viable contracts.
Activity:
*Understanding of provider economics.
LPC Comments:
*The PCT has to demonstrate understanding of pharmacy economics and finances.
*Pharmacy user experience data and preferences need to be developed.
*There is an urgent need to demonstrate that Procurement strategy and recent procurement exercise shows compliance with Principles and Rules for Cooperation and Competition. CSP must give assurance to concerned pharmacists and pharmacy users.
