*Use of electronic system for recording pharmacy based enhanced services is long overdue and creating inefficiencies.

*Implementation of regular provider performance discussions.
LPC Comments:
*Live performance data obtained by electronic system can improve the outcomes and help hold pharmacy contractors more accountable.
*PCT takes a sensible and developmental approach to issues during monitoring.

*The LPC and the PCT already work together to ensure contract compliance.
*Pharmacist providers, need additional support and resources to further develop practices that benefit pharmacy user e.g. change management; better understanding of outcomes and patient focussed NHS; modernising traditional roles to better support GPs and pharmacy users.
